A DUI impacts more than driving privileges
A suspended license is a major inconvenience, but a DUI charge can impact your life in so many other ways. You could be fined, lose your job, and even face jail time – this isn’t to mention the damage done to your reputation, which might take years to repair.
Considering the stakes, having the right DUI defense attorney by your side is critical. They understand what the prosecution needs to prove their case and provide a solid defense of your rights before a court of law. Additionally, they can identify any mistakes the police may have made during the arrest, which could result in the case being thrown out.
If you’re a Birmingham resident that’s been charged with a DUI, it’s important to act quickly. The early stages of a case often determine the outcome. If cost is a concern, many lawyers offer a free initial consultation at no out-of-pocket cost to the client.
